Tell Us Your Insurance and We'll Verify

Plan participation changes frequently, and not every product within a plan is in-network. The fastest way to know is to share your insurance details when you book. We'll verify your specific benefits before your visit and explain exactly what's covered. Curious why a real exam costs more than online glasses retailers? See kids' glasses online vs. eye doctor and why cheap kids' glasses end up costing more. And if you wear contacts, here's why a separate contact lens exam is needed.

Common Questions

Insurance & Payment FAQ

Do you accept my insurance?

We participate with most major vision insurance plans (VSP, EyeMed, Davis Vision, Spectera) and many medical insurance plans (Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Humana, UnitedHealthcare). Plan participation changes frequently, so the fastest answer is to share your insurance details when you book. We verify your specific benefits before your visit.

What is the difference between vision insurance and medical insurance?

Vision insurance covers routine eye care: annual comprehensive exams, glasses, and contact lens prescriptions. Medical insurance covers eye-health concerns like pink eye, dry eye, sudden vision changes, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma evaluations, and similar. Many visits use just one or the other; some use both. We tell you up front which applies and what to expect.

Do you accept HSA and FSA cards?

Yes. We accept Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Account cards for eye exams, glasses, contact lenses, and most eye-care purchases.

Do you offer CareCredit financing?

Yes. We accept CareCredit financing for larger purchases such as multiple pairs of glasses, specialty contact lenses, and premium lens options. Apply at carecredit.com before your visit if you would like to use it.

What if I do not have insurance?

We offer transparent, up-front self-pay pricing. A comprehensive eye exam is $150, contact lens fittings add $100, and binocular vision evaluations are $250–$350 depending on age. Sometimes paying out-of-pocket is actually less than using insurance.

Can my whole family use different insurance plans in the same visit?

Yes. Each family member is billed separately by their own plan. Share each person’s insurance details when you book and we’ll verify benefits for everyone before the visit.
